A Message from the Principal
It was a pleasure welcoming many of you to our school during yesterday's Go to School Night. If you were unable to attend and are curious about what you missed, please reach out to your child's teacher. They will be able to provide notes from their presentation for the evening.
Additionally, a strong home-school connection is one key to our students' success. This includes a shared understanding of what is happening in the classroom. If you have any questions about classroom procedures, curriculum, etc., please reach out to your child's teacher. If you have general questions about our school, please contact our main office at (847) 446-6060. We are here to help!
On another note, elementary principals shared details of our various safety drills in last week's newsletter. This included an overview of our "lockdown" safety procedures, done in conjunction with the Winnetka Police Department. Greeley's safety drill has been scheduled for the morning of Friday, October 7th. Although we recommend all students take part, parents and caregivers have an option to have their child not take part. If you wish to exempt your child from this drill, you may do so by completing this form no later than the morning of October 6th.
Wishing you all a pleasant week,
Joshua Swanner
Principal
