Thank you Walton EMC for helping to support Brookwood Elementary readers!
We are thrilled to celebrate the achievement of Brookwood Elementary's media specialist, Karleen Reynolds. On Thursday, Mrs. Reynolds was awarded a $5,000 School Empowerment grant from Walton EMC. The funds will be used to make improvements in the Brookwood Elementary Media Center, specifically, the purchase of new shelving for the fiction collection.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Reynolds for this well-deserved recognition and express our gratitude to Walton EMC for their invaluable support in enriching the educational experience at Brookwood Elementary. This grant not only enhances the physical space of our Media Center but also contributes to the broader goal of inspiring a lifelong passion for reading among our students.
Missing Something? Check the BES Lost and Found!
To avoid items going to the Lost and Found, we encourage you to label your child's outerwear, lunchboxes, and other belongings with their name. If an item has a name attached, we ensure it is returned to the student. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
