11. Ms. Carter's Memo: Does attendance really matter?
Use Goal-Setting to Motivate Your Child
Help your child set goals and you may help them do better in school. How? By giving them something to work toward and achieve. Have your child ask themselves:
What do I want to achieve?
What am I doing to achieve it?
Are the things I’m doing really helping?
The more specifically they can answer these questions, the better able they may be to set and reach their goals.
