Hello Cub Families!

Wednesday is a very important day! All students need to attend all day on October 7th on Wide Awake Wednesday. ECE Cubs count and attendance matters every day! We love our super students. Wednesday is very important, because 90% of our funding is based on attendance on this day. Super Parents, I know that I can count on you to ensure that your child attends. We start promptly at 8:00 AM on Wednesday. Your child may bring a teddy bear (or other stuffed animal) to "visit" on Cubs Count Day! (Every student who attends on Wednesday will receive a special surprise that will be mailed home!) I look forward to seeing every student on Wednesday!

I am so excited that preschool begins on Monday! All students should have laptops and school supplies by now. We begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Our teachers are looking forward to seeing you!

This Wednesday is NOT late start! Every first and third Wednesday of the month is a late start day as teachers have professional development. Please be sure that you child logs in promptly at 9:00 AM. The dates are below effective October 21st:

March 3rd and 17th

June 2nd and 16th

All students in kindergarten through second grade should have picked up their Everyday Math Books by now. Please contact the school, if you did not pick it up yet. Thanks.

This week's focus has been on being steadfast. Our ECE Superheroes this week are firm in their belief and commitment to our students. We thank you:

Learning Labs are on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:15 PM - 3:00 PM for those students who have already been notified. Learning Lab students will enter on Charest Street by 12:15 PM wearing a mask, and they will exit on McDougall Street at 3:00 PM.

Computer Repair and Support

Community members will be able to visit outside of Room 119 at Hamtramck High School on the corner of Gallagher and Casmere to receive support with district issued devices. (Students must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age.)
