Helpful College Tips
Be PRO-ACTIVE and Not Re-Active!
But in order for everyone to be their best and most successful self, and for the TRIO FESP office to help in the best way possible, we need to know what's going on, early on! So keep in communication with your Advisers. Our doors are always open.
Now is the time to prepare for 2020-2021 Academic Year!
This is not an easy task, but in the end could have some major pay offs. Why is this?
The more scholarships you receive means the less loans you need to take out which then means that you will have less debt when graduating with your Bachelor's degree to repay back. This can be helpful for those starting new careers, wanting to make larger purchases, or just wanting to spend time doing things you love.
Steps to Prepare for Graduate School
To start:
- Talk with your TRIO Advisor: They have a ton of information related to Grad School.
- Research some fields you may want to go into. You are not at all limited to the same graduate degree you got your bachelor's in.
- Research some schools that offer those Master's degree and find information about admission requirements.
A service that you do get in the TRIO office is assistance with your graduate school essay. One of your TRIO Advisors may be able to write a letter of recommendation. This can depend on how well the Advisor knows you or how much you participated in TRIO activities or events.
Using our Strengths
Her Strengths are Empathy, Futuristic, Strategic, Intellection and Adaptability.
