Meet the RapTechs
RapTechs are GHS students who volunteer in the library on a free period. They have been trained in Chromebook troubleshooting and repair. These students have been so successful that they recently received additional, more technical, training from our district Tech Services staff and students are now able to complete more advanced repairs.
Thank you to our RapTechs for all they do to keep student computers up and running. Thank you also to our GHS librarians, Kerri Cobb and Noelle Harper, for their dedication in building this program. Finally, thank you to Ja'von Gooch from Tech Services for all of his work with our RapTech team.

Sheet Music Needed
The Gallatin Music Department would love to take any of that old music off your hands. We are looking for music of all types: solo music and small ensemble (chamber group) music for band instruments, vocal, and/or string solo/ensemble music. Please send any music to GHS attention Jeffrey Ruffcorn. Mr. Ruffcorn will look it over and we'll use it to add to our GHS collection or share with middle or elementary music teachers.
Students - Consider helping out our Special Olympics program by being a unified partner!

High School Schedule Consensus Recommendation
As you have read in a recent communication from Superintendent Bertram, the high school consensus team made up of teachers and administrators from both high schools recently wrapped up five full days of consensus work, culminating in a recommended change to the high school schedule beginning in 2024-2025. The high school consensus group settled on an A/B alternating eight-period block schedule in which teachers teach six of eight blocks over two days. For full details on the high school master schedule recommendation click HERE.
Principals from both high schools are planning opportunities to discuss the proposed high school schedule with multiple student and parent groups, such as StuCo, the PAC, and the Boosters.
A community forum for all interested students and parents/guardians will be held at the following times:
Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m, GHS Commons, 2nd floor
Representatives from the high school schedule consensus group are scheduled to present and discuss the proposed schedule with the BSD7 Board of Trustees on March 6, 2023.
Students and parents/guardians are encouraged to share questions and feedback via this survey throughout the winter and spring. You can also contact GHS principal, Erica Schnee, with any questions.
