IB Learner Profile: We are communicators!

Job Fair this Saturday in our Gym: for our parents and our entire community. Employers will be there looking to hire. Please join us from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Get Educated on February 22: a workshop about social media, dangerous apps, cyber-bullying, and other dangerous trends will be presented by a county specialist. The workshop will be at 6:00 p.m. here at Summerour.

We are a uniform school! We wear uniforms Monday through Thursday. Fridays are the only no uniform day during the week. No jeans, Monday - Thursday. We have a uniform store here, if you need to come and purchase appropriate gear. And, no Crocs, no slides.

Gwinnett Online Campus Registration Feb. 1 - Feb. 28

It's February! February's goal is 86% complete by the end of the month.

Have your student stay in practice and work on Khan Academy daily. Short sessions every day will do wonders. We are giving incentives out each month. We also have a Khan Saturday Program - ask your math teacher to join!

For the 2022-23 school year, Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) will offer a digital learning option for students in grades K-12 through Gwinnett Online Campus (GOC), opening GOC’s program to K-3 students for the first time. Digital students at all grade levels will enroll full-time at GOC rather than being enrolled at their local neighborhood/zoned school.

Families can learn more about Gwinnett Online Campus and digital learning next school year through GOC information sessions.

ACCESS Testing

• ACCESS testing for our English Language Learners is nearly complete...but not over yet. There are several parts to the test. Please ensure students are rested and ready on the day of the test.

How do you know if your child was selected?

• We sent a letter home with the student this week
• We also emailed a PDF copy of the letter home on Friday
