Michael G Sternig Award Presented
Congratulations to this year's winner: Elliot Weber
Noreen Laufer Award Presented
This year’s nominee was nominated by Mrs. Scheit. This student is not the loudest in the room, nor do they draw attention to themselves or try to be the center of focus in a classroom. However, they work hard and always seem to have a positive attitude about them. This student has a gentle, compassionate spirit in and out of the classroom. They notice when someone needs a friend and can always be counted on to help when needed. Their approach toward learning is thoughtful and inquisitive, always thinking and putting forth their best effort. She is a joy to teach because she comes to school eager and interested!
Congratulations to this year's winner: Nora Sternig, Grade 3

8th Grade VB & BB vs Teachers
This week the 8th grade boys BB team played the teachers. The teachers made it close....losing by only 4 points. A big shout out to the boys for their patience and giving the teachers the space and opportunity to shoot baskets. I am sure they would have dominated.

Student of the Week
The Virtue for the month of May is Patience: remaining calm and not becoming annoyed when dealing with problems or difficult people. This could also mean paying attention to something for a long time without becoming bored or losing interest. “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4:2
