Dear Bobcat Families,

This week is Kindness Comes from the Heart. Our students will be encouraged to be kind to themselves and one another. During this week, students will get to play a game of musical hearts at lunch on Valentine's Day. This game will be sponsored by our ASB. There will also be a spirit day on Wednesday. Students and staff are encouraged to wear pink or red for Valentine's Day. Thursday the spirit day theme is: Life is Better with Friends! Students can dress as twins with their friends on this day.

Brea Olinda High School has a computer science pathway. We are currently accepting applications for students interested in pursuing the Global Informational Technology Academy (GITA) for the 2024-25 school year. Click HERE to access the application. The application is due on March 4, 2024.

Black history month continues this week. Students will continue to hear interesting facts about famous Black figures who impacted American history. Don't forget to watch the YouTube video below for more facts about famous Black figures.

Lunar New Year began on February 10, 2024 this year. Lunar New Year is celebrated in China and all over the world. This is a way that people prepare for the new year. Click the link to the YouTube video below to learn more about Lunar New Year.

In addition, here is no school on Monday due to Lincoln's birthday. Regular school hours resume on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
