Principal's Message
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Please remember that there is no school on Monday, February 19th in observance of President's Day. The morning announcements message this week to students highlights the end of the trimester and beginning of the third trimester on February 23, 2023. Please be sure to check Teacherease for any adjustments to student schedules, including find their new rotation for Creative Arts.
The end of a trimester provides a great time for students to reflect on their learning. Asking some of the following questions can help guide goal setting for our final trimester of the 23-24 school year.
- Did you earn the grades you wanted?
- Do you know why you earned these grades?
- Were you on preparend, on time, and engaged in class?
- How did you prepare for assessments throughout the trimester?
- How did you balance your work in different classes?
Emily Loerakker
Fremont Middle School Principal

Take the 5Essentials Survey!
Fremont School District 79 greatly values your feedback as it relates to your student’s educational experience. Once again, the State of Illinois has partnered with 5Essentials to create a forum by which you can provide your input.
If you have not already done so, we would greatly appreciate it if you would take the brief survey by visiting: http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/
Your responses are vital for continuous improvement and long-range planning for your child's school. Parents are welcome to answer the survey for each of their children’s schools.
