Message from Mrs. Hawkins
Lincoln Families and Friends,
We picked the perfect day to enjoy a field trip to the We All Play Playground at Manthey Park. On Tuesday, Oct. 17th, students enjoyed an opportunity to play together as a grade level on the all-inclusive playground. Thank you to our Specialist Team for making this possible.
The Lincoln PTO organized a fundraiser for October. Over 158 students participated and the profit for Lincoln PTO was just over $12, 000. This is money that will be used to benefit current students at Lincoln. If you want to be part of the discussion on how this money will be used, join our PTO meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
You can also join us for the upcoming PTO Family Night on Nov. 2nd. The United Way will be celebrating with us as they open up the Born Learning Trail on the Lincoln grounds. Following this, families are invited into the school for pizza and games. Lincoln staff will be teaching families a variety of ways to play a dice game that will help students build math skills. Families will leave with their own game. Pizza and water will be available for purchase. If you are planning to attend, please be sure to register.
We are looking forward to connecting with all families in November for Student Conferences. Watch for an email with a sign up link.
