Holy Cross Catholic School

We had a beautiful start to the week honoring our Blessed Mother Mary. Our 2nd and 8th-grade students did a beautiful job leading us in May Crowning. The music, the celebration, and witnessing the leaders of our school being role models for our younger students are truly special. It is hard to believe it is already May. Although May brings so much joy, it is also a reminder that part of our family will not be with us next year.

Mr. Mana will be spending more time with his family and pursuing a high school coaching position. He has been with Holy Cross for the past two years and has done a wonderful job. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and we all hope he comes back to see us.

We want to say a big thank you to Mr. Burgess for an amazing Spring Band Concert. The fifth through eighth graders showed off their God-given talents and all they have learned this year. Thank you for another beautiful evening out celebrating our staff and students' achievements this school year.

We hope everyone can join us tomorrow for the Parish Picnic. Mass starts at 3 pm and the picnic directly follows.

Feliz primera communion to our second-grade students this weekend! We are lifting you up in prayer as you receive this blessed sacrament.

Celebration 2024 is Moving Home!

We have BIG news for Celebration - Be The Light! 2024...it's moving back to the school! While the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center has been a lovely spot for our event, we have outgrown it. Thus, we're bringing it home, but we're going to need a large amount of support to make it happen. We will have one Celebration chairperson and are looking for volunteers to be "team leads" for the 2023-2024 school year. Can you help? Here's what we're looking for:
