Dear St. Luke Families,

Thank-you all for such an amazing year!

O God of all beginnings and endings,

We praise and thank You for the gift of this school year.

It has been a time filled with grace and blessings,

With challenges and opportunities,

joys and sorrows.

The days have passed quickly, O Lord.

The weeks, the months, the seasons,

the holidays and holy days,

The exams, vacations, breaks, and assemblies,

All have come forth from Your hand.

While we trust that Your purposes

have always been at work each day,

Sometimes it has seemed difficult to understand and appreciate

Just what You have been up to in our school.

Give us the rest and refreshment we need this summer.

Let our efforts of this past year bear fruit.

Bring all of our plans to a joyful conclusion,

And bless us, according to Your will,

With the fulfillment of our summer hopes and dreams.

Watch over us in the weeks of rest ahead,

And guide each day as You have done this past year.

Help us return to school with a new spirit and a new energy.

May we continue to grow

In age, wisdom, knowledge and grace

All the days of our lives.

Students have worked hard on using their God given gifts and talents and this report card captures their academic, physical and spiritual growth over the year. Please take time to celebrate with them as they all have worked to become “Better Together.”

Report cards will be emailed to you and will be in PowerSchool on June 28th. We hope you and your child take the opportunity to review their report card and celebrate their milestones and growth this year.

Elk Island Catholic Schools’ Student Transportation has a program for First Time Bus Riders and their parents. Students and Parents will learn the following.

• How to be safer when around the bus
• What the Danger Zone is and where it is located
• How to board the bus properly and safely
• How to sit properly on the bus and learn bus rules.

The session includes an opportunity for parents and their students to take a short ride on a school bus.

Following is a step by step to get into registration.

• Log into PowerSchool (contact the school if you encounter login issues)
• Click “SchoolEngage - Student Forms” on the left.
• Complete the form titled “B.1) 2023-2024 Transportation Request. Form” for each student who will be accessing transportation.

For the 2023-2024 school year, you will be required to purchase or supply basic school supplies for your child, including a one-to-one technology device for students starting in Grade 4 to Grade 8. Enhancement programming costs such as field trips etc. will be posted to your PowerSchool account in the fall. You will receive an email when the fees have been posted.

Staples is offering special pricing for parents from Elk Island Catholic Schools. You may choose to get your school supplies from Staples or from another retail store. Please click the button below to access the school supply lists provided by our school and by Staples.
