Principal's Message

Dear Slaybaugh Families,

First and foremost, I would like to say thank you to our students, parents and community members for your continued support during these challenging times. We are so fortunate to live in a community that rallies together to help each other. As we continue to move forward, we cannot stress enough the importance of student engagement in both the virtual and in-person learning. Please be sure to frequently check your child's progress through the Parent Portal.

We look forward to welcoming more students to the Hybrid Model beginning February 2, 2021. We are also very excited to welcome eight more Preschool classes to the Slaybaugh Primary building starting next week. This will mark the start of the implementation of our Full Day Preschool Program. If you are a parent of a student starting this program please see the letter below for further information.

Second Graders Know Learning "Matters"

Mrs. Colquhoun's class is learning about properties of matter. Their assignment was to pick materials with properties that would make a hat that would keep them cool in the sun.
