Ozark Tiger E-News
Students don't have school Monday, Sept. 25. Enjoy your three-day weekend!
CONSTITUTION DAY
Welcome George Washington
North second graders had some special visitors Sept. 15 to celebrate Constitution Day — George and Martha Washington! Students learned about the constitution, our first president and the American Revolution.
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday to the U.S. Constitution! OHS students in Mrs. Floyd's government class threw a birthday party for the U.S. Constitution complete with cake, decorations and singing!
I Pledge Allegiance
You’re never too young to learn about our nation! Tiger Paw students in Melissa Dollar’s class have been working to learn and recite the Pledge of Allegiance and to recognize U.S. symbols. We love these adorable faces and smiles!
Freedom
South third graders exercised their freedom of assembly to gather for a picnic after learning about the United States constitution.

These seven students are eligible to move on to all-state auditions. Congratulations to everyone who auditioned!
Bird Beaks
What type of beak is best suited for an island where the food is only raisins? Eighth grade science students are finding out!
This week's lesson on adaptations leading to fitness and natural selection involved students becoming birds using toothpicks, spoons, tweezers, and clothes pins as beaks.
