Learning Through Interests Program (LTI)
We are excited to bring back our award winning Learning Through Interests Program.
Before we had to shift to virtual learning in March 2020, close to 48% of our students participated in our LTI program. We hope to have this program back up and in full swing by the end of the first quarter. In our LTI program, students work closely with a mentor, learning in a real world setting. All students are encouraged to become a part of this program. LTI students work closely with experts in their field of interest, completing authentic projects and gaining experience and exposure to how their interests intersect with the real world.
In early March 2020, our Learning Through Interests program was selected as the recipient of the 33rd Annual Jack London Award for Educational Innovation. Since then, many school's from around our state have reached out to us to learn about our program. I can't thank my staff enough for their on-going commitment to supporting our students as they explore their interests and lay foundational plans post-high school.

Parent Involvement
You are a part of our Liberty Family!
We would love to have you involved in any way possible, so please let us know what that could look like for you! Most of our ideas are during school hours, but we are open to all suggestions.
Our counselor, Celeste Dacanay, sent out a survey to inquire about ways parents/guardians can get involved with Liberty High School. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach Ms. Sexton at cdacanay@beniciaunified.org.
Thank you!
