Columbus Connections
November 17, 2023
Welcome to our weekly newsletter for Columbus Elementary families! Every Friday we will share good news, important information, and of course our STAR STUDENTS with you.
Week in Review
It has been a very busy week at Columbus. Our fourth graders had their Celebration of Learning on Thursday evening. This was a culmination of many weeks of learning where students used their science knowledge about sense receptors and adaptations to imagine and create their own unique creatures. Students had the opportunity to present their creatures and information to all of the fourth grade parents. We will also be very excited to welcome tour third grade families earlier today to our Thanksgiving Feast. Families enjoyed a traditional meal along with some dessert. In the classrooms, all grades have been working on a wide variety of learning tasks, as we move toward the end of the first trimester. Please see the pictures below in the around Columbus section.
