February 22 - Band Concert @ Central Heights

Central Heights Band Concert, 6:30pm
Attendance & Warm-up @ 6pm
Concert will feature all 3 grades (6th, 7th, & 8th Grade)

Concert Dress:

Students should wear their Band Shirt, Black Plants/Shoes/Socks
The goal is to look uniform and formal(ish...)

Photographer needed!

We could use help taking photos of our three bands during the concert. We would give you access to the balcony in the hopes of getting some high quality photos that get all students in the picture. If you have the talent, equipment, and interest - please reach out to Mr. Melrose. Thanks!

Central Heights Pep Band plays at Wisconsin Herd Basketball Game in Oshkosh, WI.

ALL grades (6-8) are invited and welcome to come to this event!

COST: $33 (includes bus & student ticket)

TIME: 2:30pm to 10pm

Sun Prairie Band O Rama - Monday April 8 @ SP East Fieldhouse

On Monday April 8th, all bands in Sun Prairie grades 6 - 12 will join forces for a combined concert in the Sun Prairie High School East Fieldhouse. Important details:

Location: Sun Prairie East High School
Warm-Up / Attendance: 6:30pm
Concert Begins: 7pm
Dress: CH Concert Shirt, Black pants, socks, & shoes
Quick tip: get there early if possible - parking gets full

The concert concludes with a massed-band performance of "On Wisconsin."

Band Equipment Trailer Fundraiser

The Band Program appreciates your support!

We're raising funds for a replacement EQUIPMENT TRAILER.

We recognize that not everyone can give their time, and we truly value the diverse ways individuals like you support the students. Your financial support enables the Boosters to meet matching contributions and helps spread the gift of music in the community.

Sound of Sun Prairie (Sun Prairie's summer marching band) is beginning it's 2024 season.

SOSP 1st Rehearsal, Saturday March 3rd, 9am - 1pm @ SP East

Band Scholarships Available!

The Bernie Powers Band Foundation works to help students reach their goals by providing financial support for experiences that will help them grow as musicians and people. These scholarships not only benefit the recipient, but other students as the recipients share what they learned as they used their scholarship funding.

The following scholarships will be offered in the next window of scholarship applications which will close March 15th, 2024.

Jeff Bogosh Summer Jazz Camp Scholarship, $500 (8th Grade)
H.E.A.R Scholarship, $300 (7th and 8th Grade)
Berman Sound of Sun Priaire Scholarship (8th Grade)
Berman Percussion Scholarship, $300 (7th and 8th Grade)

CH Jazz Updates

Jazz Bands rehearse two mornings/week from 7:30 - 8:15am on Tuesday & Thursday morning

Rehearsals have resumed for this winter
