Communicating gratitude is always important, but especially at Thanksgiving. We want to thank ALL of our wonderful Ogle Community for being a part of our fun events these last few weeks, and for helping us to really bring together our Ogle Ohana!
As we move closer into the holiday season we'd like to also wish you a wonderful fall break with your families. If you celebrate Thanksgiving we hope you enjoy a fantastic feast with family & friends! Students will return to school on Monday, November 27th!

This year our school will be helping to sponsor a Frisco student in need for each grade level K-4th! Starting November 7th through the 17th unwrapped donations will be accepted, you may send these donations with your student to Ogle. Healthy Lifestyles Month: Entire month of November! Students received a BINGO card last week, as a family try to complete all the squares before end of the month and drop the completed card in the envelope on the bulletin board at Ogle for your chance to win a prize!

OGLE FUN RUN 2023 RESULTS
Our 2023 Ogle Fundraiser was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who contributed funds, supported all of our Ogle runners, volunteered their time, and shared our fundraiser with family & friends. Thanks to YOUR participation and contributions we raised $15,382 for Ogle, we also were able to turn the event into a COLOR RUN! THIS IS AMAZING!! We will be able to provide ALL planned programs for Ogle this year as well as some additional fun things we have in the works. We are currently working through the logistics for the soccer goals to be set up on the outside turf and thanks to these funds we were able to have a successful Fall Festival last Friday night! We appreciate our Ogle Community so much and can't wait to share photos from all the fun events and programs you are helping us to support this year! THANK YOU OGLE FAMILIES!!

Scholastic Book Fair & Story Night
The past month has been very busy at Ogle! We had our Fall Scholastic Book Fair the week after our Fun Run, and the week before our Fall Festival. Even with the crazy scheduling our families made every effort to come out and purchase books, as well as attend our Story Night. THANK YOU! We received 25% cash back from Scholastic from book sales, this brought us to $2,648.43! We were also able to have some fun with our amazing super heros who dressed the part and read fun stories to our families while enjoying milk & cookies. Check out some of our photos below!
Volunteer of the Month

Our October Volunteer of the Month is Becky Bang! Becky was nominated by Ms.Galvan one of our fantastic 3rd grade teachers.
"Becky has made such a huge contribution at Ogle this past month in October! She stepped up to be a room parent this year, helped in the library to set up, and was so BRIGHT BLUE at the Color Run. Thank you so much Becky, for always smiling and helping our kiddos & teachers here at Ogle!"

We are very proud to be recipients of the Golden Apple by reaching 100% PTA Membership with our Ogle Staff! We could not have received this honor without the support of Mr. McCarty and our amazing faculty at Ogle! We greatly appreciate the continued support this year across our PTA in helping to make every child's potential a reality!
