HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
The HHHS staff of administrators, teachers, and support staff would like to wish all of our families a very happy holiday. We hope that this winter break provides some time to relax and recuperate as we all prepare for 2024! May this holiday season see you maintain good health, both physically and emotionally. We look forward to a return to school on January 2, 2024, to continue a great rest of the academic year with our Hatter families.

KEYSTONE EXAMS
Testing will begin when we return from winter break! Students who are testing in the Winter Keystone Window have been notified via BlackBoard messenger. Messages have been sent to students and families. Exam dates are as follows:
Algebra I - January 4 & 5
English Literature - January 8 & 9
Biology - January 10 & 11
Students who are testing should arrive at their typical start time via their regular transportation. Testing begins promptly at 7:30 am. All other students should report to their bus stop by 8:55 am. The High School classes will run on a two-hour delay bell schedule on testing days.
*As a reminder, proficiency on Keystone Exams is a graduation requirement. For the Class of 2026 and beyond, any student who has not achieved proficiency on a Keystone Exam will be required to re-test.*
EASTERN TRANSPORTATION ON SPECIAL SCHEDULE DAYS
Please take note of the 2-hour delay schedule on Keystone Exam Days. Those dates are January 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, & 11.
- Students who are NOT testing in Algebra, Literature or Biology Keystone exams will arrive for a 9:30 am start and will follow the 2-hr delay schedule.
- If your student IS testing in one of the three areas of Algebra I, Literature or Biology, they will come in at the regular time. After completing the exam, they will join the rest of the student body and follow a 2-hr delay class schedule.
- Transportation will be provided for all students.
Students attending ECAT:
AM Tech Students:
- If NOT testing, report to ECAT as scheduled. District transportation will still be available if needed, leaving HH at 7:20am and returning at 10:45am. Students will report to Study Hall if using district transportation upon their return to HH. Those who are providing their own transportation must return to HH by 12:35pm for the start of 4th period classes.
- If testing, students will be excused from ECAT and will report to Study Hall during periods 1 and 2, then follow their PM schedule with HH as normal.
PM Tech Students:
- Students will report to HH as assigned β by 7:20am if testing, or by 9:20am if not testing.
- Transportation to ECAT will leave HH at 11:35pm to allow students 15 mins to obtain lunch from the cafeteria. If students provide their own transportation, they may leave the building at 11:20am following 2nd period.
All start and end times for ECAT classes will remain the same.
SENIOR CAREER ALERT ...
Is your senior looking for a hands-on career in an in-demand industry after graduation? Encourage them to apply for this free pre-apprenticeship program in the field of manufacturing occurring NEXT SEMESTER. Through a combination of online modules and in-person lab experiences, students will earn an industry certification and an opportunity for a lucrative position after graduation. Special Occasion Clothing Sale β January 19, 20, 21 and March 8, 9, 10
Our Special Occasion Clothing Sale is BACK this January! Long and short dresses, as well as suits, shoes, and accessories, are all available for sale. Many dresses are brand new with tags, priced at $5-$20. Get ahead on prom dress shopping on our first dates in January: January 19th, 4 pm-8 pm, and January 20th and 21st, 10 am -4 pm. All details are in the attached flyer.

HATTERS ATHLETICS
The high school main gym renovations are almost complete and the bleacher installation concluded this week. We are excited that the first event in the main gym will be the Ralph Wetzel Wrestling Tournament over winter break. We look forward to return back home for basketball and wrestling matches in 2024!
