WHY DO I LOVE CATHOLIC EDUCATION?

I love Catholic education because it is education that is rooted in faith development and application of that faith to our daily lives. Our students not only learn to be scholars, but they also learn how to be stewards of God's love to each other and the world. This is the greatest reason to choose a Catholic education.

In this edition of Bart's Buzz are some pictures from our fourth grade class in which some of our girls are learning to braid hair. This simple act of kindness and love by Ms. Skrab to incorporate hair braiding during recess for some of our students who did not know how to braid is in my opinion BEAUTIFUL. A simple act of stewardship of God's love for one another.

Monday-COURAGE

"Team David or Team Goliath"

Students can dress down and wear their favorite team jersey (t-shirt or sweatshirt). Student Council will be holding a PEP Rally and Basketball Rally.

Tuesday- STRENGTH

"Oh, that hair"

It is crazy hair day and pajama day. Students will play a fun Catholic school Kahoot. Student Appreciation Day.

Wednesday-FAITH

"We are family"

VIP MASS- Students are welcome to invite family members to the School Mass at 8 am. Students will wear their school uniform. Students will participate in a stewardship activity.

Thursday- LOYAL

"The Good Samaritan"

Students are invited to pair up with a friend(s) and TWIN. We will also have a prayer service with our buddies. Students will make cards for the teachers/Pastor

Friday-KINDNESS

"Do unto others"

Students are invited to dress like their favorite superhero. Teacher Appreciation Day. Magic Show Assembly and Saint Bingo

During Catholic Schools week, January 31- February 4th we will be collecting hats, socks and mittens/gloves for the Embrace Pregnancy Center.
