We made it through the first three days! It was very fun to have our kiddos back as well as welcome new friends. Our main two goals for these three days were learning all the routines and procedures and building friendships with our classmates. I would say we made great strides toward both of those goals.
I want to give a BIG thank you to all our parents for arrival and dismissal. Day three was running much better than day one. We were done with dismissal by 3:20 pm today. A good improvement over day one at 3:36 pm.
We only had 7 tardies the past three days. Let's keep those back to school routines going next week as well!
I want to ask all of you to help us with our PTA membership challenge. You can read about the challenge with Timber Creek Elementary below. We are off to a good start with 342 memberships. I would like for us to have one member for every student enrolled at PTE. Our current enrollment is 640. That means we are only 298 away from hitting 640! There are all levels of involvement in PTA and if all you are able to do is join PTA, that will be enough. See below for how to join for only $11.75.
I am very excited for you to read about us being named as a National PTA School of Excellence. This is no small achievement as only 72 schools from Texas were honored. Keep scrolling to read more about this outstanding accomplishment.

Back to School Forms
Back to School Forms are now available for returning families to fill out!
An email from LISD Communications went out today, Tuesday, July 25 with all the information you need.
Each year, families must complete back to school forms that include permissions for district technology use, updated health information, acknowledgement of the Student Handbook and Code of Conduct, and updates to other important information so the district is able to stay in contact with families and support student needs.
These forms are available in the Skyward Family Access account. If a student has multiple families attached to their account, only the Family 1 parent or guardian can access the forms.
