A Word from your Instructional Leaders

Hello,

Our Fall Fest / Trick or Treat Event was a lot of fun! Thank you to our staff, PTO, and all of families for joining us! It was nice to see so many happy individuals! We can't believe we are already in November! Please review the dates below for no school days.

We need your help! Mesilla Elementary is a voting site for the upcoming election on 11/2/21. This year on the voting ballot is a school bond. The bond includes some improvements for our school. We are asking you to please come out and vote YES to the school bond. Your support is greatly appreciated. Together we are stronger!

We have a new WEBSITE!

We are so excited about our new and improved webpage!! Our school's site is one of the first schools in the district to go live! You can download an app called "Las Cruces Public Schools." Once app has downloaded, you may select Mesilla Elementary and any other LCPS school you wish to follow. mesilla.lcps.net

MASKS

All individuals will be required to wear a mask while indoors with the exception when eating/drinking.

The following masks are NOT permitted:

* masks that have exhalation valves or vents

* bandanas

* scarves

* neck gaiters (also known as neck fleece)

* face shields unless an approved face mask is worn underneath.

Permission to Post

Teachers will be verifying "permission to photograph" forms that was a part of your enrollment package. We would like to start posting pictures of our amazing students on our Facebook page as well as our new Webpage. If you are a parent that does not want your child's photo posted, please remind your child's teacher. Feel free to contact us in the office as well.
