State Playoffs
The Westfield Boys lost to Grand Oaks in Bi-District Competitions on Tuesday 2/21 by the score of 63-45. The Mustangs finished the season at 17-16 with another consecutive playoff appearance.
Varsity Soccer Update
The Dekaney Lady Wildcats lost to Davis 8-0 Saturday morning and cross-town rival Westfield earlier in the week. This week they will face 2nd place Aldine.
The Dekaney Varsity Boys tied Davis 1-1 on Saturday to remain in a fight for the final playoff spot. They lost earlier in the week to Westfield 2-1.
The Spring Lady Lions lost to Aldine on Saturday 5-2 but still currently hold the final playoff spot with 4 games to go. They defeated Davis HS earlier this week.
The Spring Varsity Boys lost to Aldine 4-2 on Saturday. They lost an even tougher battle with Davis HS earlier on Wednesday 4-0.
The Westfield Lady Mustangs clinched a playoff spot by defeating Nimitz 2-1 on Saturday morning. They also defeated Dekaney 12-0 earlier in the week on Wednesday. They are currently tied for second place in District 14-6A.
The Westfield Boys defeated Nimitz 1-0 on Saturday and remain in 3rd place overall. They defeated Dekaney earlier in the week to keep their current playoff spot and jump one level in the standings.
