Scanning for 7th & 8th Grade Students

As part of the safety initiative for Rochester City Schools, students will be required to go through metal detecting scanning machines like the kind used to screen airline passengers.

Important Information:

  • iReady Diagnostic Letters will be sent home with your child, please look out for them.
  • Breakfast starts at 7:15am. Students will be marked late after 7:30am.
  • Students have the opportunity to join Studio 678. An afterschool program so they can learn photography. Application and information can be found below.
  • Please be sure to pick up your student on time! Student pickup is 2:00pm.
  • Call the main office at 585-266-0331 if you would not like your child to ride the bus and for early dismissals, if you only text the teacher, the message may not be sent to the appropriate people.
  • Use the Parent Portal to see up to date attendance and grades: https://rcsdsis.powerschool.com/public/. Call the main office for assistance.
  • Please return all the forms sent home with students by their teachers. Those forms are used to update student information and ensure their safety.
  • Please review the RCSD district memo regarding custody: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y3NzfaZmAEYGu6UPGZSIO6Ui6hEHmz9R/view?usp=sharing
  • Volleyball will begin Wednesday, September 13th. Please see Mr. Hall or the school Nurse with questions.
  • Please make sure your child's vaccinations are up to date. After September 19th students that do not have all of their immunizations will not be able to attend school.
