1: Shoe Shop:
Create a Chat with pictures of stylish and comfortable shoes for sale in a shoe shop. Find pictures online or take photos or real shoes! Describe them to make people want to buy them.

2: Shoes for sports:
Find different shoes for different sports. Make a Chatta board explaining and describing the shoes. Maybe choose football boots, tennis shoes, flippers for divers, rugby boots, ten pin bowling shoes, running shoes.
3: Judge a Shoe Contest:
Find pictures of unusual shoes, with strange and silly designs. Put the pictures into Chatta and record your comments. Say if you like them or not and why, and include a score out of 10.
You could make as many stories as you like with Chatta. If you want to turn any of them into a piece of writing describing things - go for it (but you don't have to!)
Activity for younger children:
Make a pile of shoes. Sort into pairs. Maybe you could jumble them up again and see if you can sort them even faster. Make a 'chat' about it afterwards.
