We’re passionate about brownies, and we don’t mind shouting it out so the whole world can hear us! Our Brownie Company was founded in 2017 by Mason Fisher, who as a sophomore in high school, started selling brownies out of his locker to help raise money to buy a car. We’ve been committed to serving up delicious brownies to all of our customers ever since.

Are you interested in exploring the knowledge, skill sets, dispositions, and behaviors needed to thrive in specific environments? The Plano ISD Education Foundation and the Professional Learning Department are partnering to provide PISD secondary teachers, counselors, specialists, and librarians with an opportunity to work with skilled industry employees. Twenty-five PISD educators will be selected to work with a local for-profit or nonprofit organization to shadow one or multiple employees or work on a specific project. SIGS provides an innovative summer learning experience and is open to students in grades 1-7 who are not concurrently enrolled in another summer program.

Students have an opportunity to explore courses that include

• Language

• Science

• Mathematical Problem Solving, Logic and Reasoning

• Computer Science

• Humanities

• Fine Arts

Computer Science Bridge

Rising 9th graders can learn:

• to program solutions using the Python programming language,

• learn about careers in computer science, and

• engage with professionals from the computer science field.

The Gateway Engineering Summer Camp is a hands-on, project-based camp designed to introduce incoming 7th and 8th grade middle school students to the fundamentals of STEM and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) engineering courses within Plano ISD. Certified PLTW instructors provide expert instruction in a fun, exciting environment using leading-edge technologies to sample engineering related activities and projects and get a taste of how fun it can be to be an engineer. The critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and collaboration skills that campers learn during the Gateway Engineering Summer Camp will benefit them for a lifetime.
