Next week is a big week! We celebrate Catholic Schools Week from Sunday to Saturday. As a Catholic School our primary mission is to help prepare students for Eternal Life. Our school complements the sacred work of the parish by forming joyful disciples of Jesus Christ, who are equipped with the knowledge, wisdom, and virtue needed to live out their vocations in accordance with the truth of the Catholic faith. We are excited to celebrate all Catholic Schools, especially our Archdiocesan schools!
We are blessed to be a part of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. From Archbishop Coakley to Father Wood, we have excellent leadership and support at the Parish & Archdiocesan levels. Our Senior Director of Catholic Education for the Archdiocese, Lara Schuler, wrote an excellent article on Catholic Schools. It is well worth a few minutes of your day to read. You can read it HERE. Father Wood also hits on Catholic Education in his bulletin letter this week, so be sure to grab a bulletin after Mass this weekend.
We have a fun week lined up for the students, starting with Mass on Sunday. Our students will be wearing their school Mass uniforms at the 11:00am Mass on Sunday. Throughout the week, we have a variety of "dress out of uniform" days to celebrate the week (The out of uniform schedule is below). We will have our silent auction going on in the Narthex, so be sure to check out our excellent spread of auction items after Mass this weekend. Come out on Friday at 2:00pm for our Student Showcase! Our students will showcase their talents from the classroom to the stage! The showcase will be held in the Activities Center. The week will be capped off with our first annual Shrimp Boil fundraiser on Saturday at 6:30pm in the Family Life Center. Our silent auction will culminate at the Shrimp Boil. This will be great parish community event! We hope to see you there!
A big THANK YOU to our teachers and parent volunteers who have put in countless hours preparing for Catholic Schools week! Your time and effort has not gone unnoticed.

School Mass is at 9:00am on Thursdays.
Morning Assembly is at 8:00am on Fridays.
