COUGAR NEWS 2023-2024
Issue # 16 November 11, 2023
A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL CHRIS SCOTT
Cougar Families,
This week we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Rylan Holub, Class of 2017, at Tomball High School as part of TISD’s Principal Partner Day. Dr. Holub and I spent the morning together as part of the event. It was fun to reminisce about his previous experience at THS and mine as well, albeit we are a few years apart in our graduation year, ha-ha. One of the things Dr. Holub shared was about his desire to give back to a community and school who gave him so much. That spirit is one of the many things that sets our community and school apart. Every year I’m amazed at our alumni base who support their school in so many ways. Volunteering, showing up to support the Coogs at events, generous donations and talking about their community with pride are easy examples to point to that demonstrate their Cougar Pride still today. I’m thankful for them and so many others who perhaps didn’t go to school here but love our school all the same. This week, if you haven’t taken the time yet, please complete the Panaroma survey sent to all our families. These survey results help us continue to celebrate the things that are going well and provide us information on how we can continue to be better.
I have had the joy of seeing my son and daughter already become part of that Cougar alumni legacy. And with one more working his way through high school, he too will become part of that rich Tomball High School tradition of former students. For a school that gave me so many great memories, it’s a daily pleasure to serve our students, staff and families at THS. Thank you for supporting your students, our programs and our school. Enjoy the week ahead.
Success in all things,
Chris Scott
