## Let's develop some Number Sense!

### How do you develop Number Sense?

Become flexible with using numbers in different ways and understand how numbers relate to each other.

### Number Talks!

Number Talks are a great way to help students develop number sense. When students are participating in number talks, they are mentally solving the problems using different strategies.

**These problems help students focus on:

- the relationship between the numbers
- different strategies to solve the problem
- help students take ownership of their math ideas
