Allie and I wish you a wonderful weekend. Below are a few things to put on your radar.

• The office is open from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Families will not be able to access the building after those times to retrieve missing or forgotten items.
• Lunch counts are taken first thing in the morning. Please be sure to remind your child if they are to order a hot lunch.
• We are finishing our MAP assessments this week. MAP assessments will be sent home via backpack mail on October 1st.
• If your child will be absent, please be sure to report the absence to the office first thing in the morning.

Music for Youth is a parent-paid program, partially subsidized by District 25, that provides string instruction at your school. To learn about our program, please attend our parent information session on Thursday, September 23 at 7:00 pm at Olive-Mary Stitt Elementary School. You will hear a short musical presentation by some of our students, learn about our program, and meet our teachers. Registration materials will be available.

Picture Day Outfit Tips:

1. As you view the options, make sure the outfit will compliment the colors.
2. Avoid shirts with large words or logos. Layered clothing that is solid in color, or has patterns, looks best.
3. Make sure you and your child both love the outfit. If they feel comfortable they will be relaxed and confident for the photo!

Please look for a flyer in your student's backpack.
