Our staff and students in Egg Harbor Township Schools are keeping busy creating, performing and responding to the Arts with an emphasis on Student Achievement, Community Engagement and #EHTPRIDE

Some Great Skills and Sets for the Arts in EHT!

Oft overlooked are the REAL WORLD applications of MATHEMATICS and CARPENTRY needed to execute a Set Design.

In December, our EHT CREW was presented with a ROUGH sketch: From there, these teens drew sets to scale, created spec designs, compiled supply lists and are bringing the Concept to life through a combination of their individual skill sets.

Yesterday, they completed base construction, which challenged them to make on-site design modifications and tackle lumber issues as they occurred.

Up next, they will add wireless lighting technology and projector programming, on top of painting and cosmetic finishings to complete CHICAGO.
