HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2024, Here we come!
Happy New Year, WAWM!
Meet Judy: West Allis Central High School Alumni
Every Day Counts!
Chronic absenteeism is defined as missing 10% or more of school days. This equates to 18 days per school year. When students miss school, they miss out on valuable instruction, opportunities to explore their passions, opportunities to build relationships and so much more. What feels like an isolated day here and there quickly adds up and can have a tremendous hindrance on their progress academically, socially, and behaviorally.
Our most recent attendance rate is 91.6%. This is an improvement from the attendance rate last year at this time which was 89.8%. However, our goal (per the 2020-2025 Strategic Plan) is to reach an attendance rate of 95%. Collectively, we need to continue promoting and encouraging school attendance. For ideas on how to support your child(ren) at home click here (for Elementary) and/or here (for Secondary). Please refer to this Attendance One-Pager for more information on attendance.
Congratulations to December's "Educator of the Month" winners!

Nathan Hale Athletic Hall of Fame
The West Allis Nathan Hale Hall of Fame was established by the Nathan Hale High School Athletic Booster Club to honor the past, inspire the present and help to build a bright future in the Hale Athletic Department. Our school has a rich history of athletic excellence. We want to establish a historic record of that success so as to preserve that record for future generations.
The Hall of Fame honors former student-athletes, coaches, teams and other individuals or entities that have made a significant positive impact on Hale athletics.
