Dear Buchanan Elementary Families,

As we wrap up another incredible school year, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the amazing support you have shown to our children, our school, and our staff. Parent and family partnerships are the heart of a strong school community, and at Buchanan Elementary, we are truly fortunate to have such dedicated and caring families by our side.

This year, your involvement has made a real difference. From the fantastic turnout at our Fall Family Night and our Block Party last week, to your participation in our Good Dads events combined with excitement around Book Fairs (with the spring fair happening this week!), your presence and support have been felt every step of the way. Your enthusiasm has helped create joyful, memorable experiences for our learners.

We also deeply appreciate all the time and energy so many of you have given to volunteering — from helping out at school events to chaperoning field trips. Your support has helped make learning even more meaningful and fun.

It’s been a great year at Buchanan Elementary, and so much of that success is because of you, our amazing families. Hats off to a wonderful year — we are grateful for each and every one of you!

• Had over 15 high school volunteers
• Hosted 8 community partners
• Hosted 4 more school partners (like Burrell, HS Football Team, etc.)

So thankful for such a supportive school community committed to learning and children!

Muffins & Pastries for Everyone!

Mr. York, 3rd grade teacher and sponsor shared, “This is the 2nd year of our Track Club at BE. We have over 50 students participating this season. The kids learned from Junior High track athletes on how to perform well in different events. Throughout the season they’ve learned how to compete in long jump, throw shot put, and complete proper handoffs during a relay race; to have grit and determination to achieve growth and success. They’ve even competed in an actual track meet!

I’m happy with how our Cross Country & Track Clubs are turning out and look forward to seeing these clubs grow next year.”

Special thanks to all the parents who provided rides, support, and encouragement to our little track stars!

The pre-order/buy with a QR code is now over. If you preordered a yearbook, your child should have recieved it last week. If anyone still wants to purchase a yearbook, we have 25 copies in the office, first come first serve. The cost is $30, cash only.
