Dear families,

I hope you had a wonderful holiday with your loved ones. The holidays are a great reminder of all that we have to be thankful for. I am truly humbled and thankful each day to work with all of you in support of our little bison. As we move into these last few weeks before winter break, I want to encourage you all to ensure that students are arriving on time and prepared to learn and grow to ensure that we maximize learning opportunities. If you are in need of any support, remember that our staff is always here to assist. We are bison!

Families, I hope that you all had a wonderful break and a restful holiday. We were all so excited to welcome our Bison back to campus today! The coming weeks until we part again for Winter Break are filled with lots of learning, assessments, and celebrations. Please check our newsletter and Dojo frequently for updates. You can expect information about semester celebrations by the end of next week. Classroom teachers and Ms. Pablo will share information about upcoming semester assessments (MAP for ES and MS, ACPs for some MS courses). At our last Coffee with the Principals, we talked about strategies to support students with test anxiety. Please reach out to Dr. Villanueva if you were unable to attend and would like resources to support your Bison. Over the next few weeks, Upper campus will host a variety of community events at Lower campus. Please mark your calendars for our upcoming choir, orchestra, and dance performances. I look forward to celebrating our students with you!
