Fall Festival Rescheduled for 11/4
Unfortunately, this weekend's weather is calling for temperatures below 40 degrees and snow. To ensure a safe and fun event, we have rescheduled the Fall Festival (originally Saturday, 10/28) to the following Saturday, 11/4 from 11:00am-1:00pm. We apologize in advance if we have less food trucks or face painters due to the date change but will do our best to make sure there's still lots of fun! We hope to see you there.

Be on Time to School!
A friendly reminder that school starts at 7:40am. The best time to arrive is between 7:25am-7:35am so students are in their classroom by 7:40am. We know it's tough for some kids to get up in the morning! Please help students build strong habits by getting them to school on time.
Attendance Reminder
We are seeing a rise of absences without a school notification. Please be aware that we have an attendance team that review attendance records to ensure we are supporting our students. To avoid a phone call from the school or an attendance letter, please follow the school attendance protocol.
- Please notify the school if your child will be absent or tardy by e-mailing Inspire.attendance@dpsk12.org or calling the school attendance line at 720-424-4851. This should be done each day your child is absent or tardy so that we can account for your child. Automated calls will be made at 8:00 a.m. if the attendance line has not been called. Please be sure to let us know why your child is absent or tardy so that we can utilize the correct code (car troubles, illness, medical appointment, etc.).
The Scholastic-PTO Book Fair is Coming!
The Scholastic Book Fair is headed our way (Hooray!). Giving kids the freedom to choose their own books not only empowers them but also ignites their passion for reading, making them more confident and enthusiastic readers. Additionally, every book purchased at the fair contributes to rewards for our school, with 50% of all sales going back to Inspire. Here's everything you need to know about the fair, which will be held from November 10th to 16th in the Inspire Library.
New this Year!
During the first two days of the fair, we will be open during school hours for kids to shop independently. Parents, please note that the fair won't be accessible to you during the school day; it's exclusively for the children. Volunteers will be at the cash register from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During this time, teachers will bring their students to the fair. For those with eWallet accounts set up, kids can shop and make purchases on their own. Please note: We are excluding ECE for eWallet shopping as we felt they were too young to make their own purchasing decisions. They will still be able to create a wish list If you are unfamiliar with eWallet, keep reading for more information on what eWallet is and how to set it up for your student. Students who do not have an eWallet can still join the fair fun on this day! Each student will make a "wish list" to bring home to their parents. You can return with your children and their wish lists to shop at the fair together.

How to set up an eWallet for your student to use at the upcoming book fair!
This digital payment option can be used both at the in-school Book Fair and online at the Virtual Book Fair, providing a safe and hassle-free shopping experience.
How It Works:
Create Your Child's eWallet Account: Visit our Book Fair home page and set up an eWallet account for your child. You can create an account for each of your children if needed.
- Add Funds: You have the flexibility to add funds to your child's eWallet, setting a budget that suits your preferences. Additionally, you can invite family and friends to contribute to your child's eWallet, making it a perfect option for gift-giving occasions.
- Accessing the Funds: Your child can access their eWallet balance in a few ways:
- Printable Barcode: You can print out a barcode from the eWallet account, which your child can bring to the Book Fair. Our volunteers will scan the barcode at the cash register, allowing for seamless and efficient checkout.
- Lookup at the Register: If you forget to bring the barcode, don't worry! Our friendly staff can look up your child's eWallet account at the register during the checkout process.
- Post-Fair Funds: Please note that any remaining eWallet funds after the Book Fair will not be returned to your credit card. Instead, they will become a gift card balance that can be used for future online Scholastic purchases or to fund an eWallet for an upcoming Book Fair.
If you're unable to make it to the fair in person, don't worry! You can still shop at our school's Online Book Fair. All orders will be shipped directly to your home, and for book orders exceeding $25, shipping is on us. Your online purchases also contribute to our school's success.
For students who need financial assistance during the fair, please reach out to Ms. Hauck for more information at Michelle_Hauck@dpsk12.net.
To make the fair a success, we need your help! Click Here to sign up to volunteer! We look forward to seeing you at the Fair.
