LCAP Survey - Important!
We invite you to participate in a brief parent survey to help us in the development of our Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). You can find a link to the LCAP Survey on the MUSD webpage at www.mrpk.org and by clicking on the button below.
If you would prefer a paper copy, you may pick up and return one at any school office or the District Office. The paper surveys will be accepted until 4:00 PM on Friday, January 13, 2023. Access to the online survey will close at 4:00 PM on Friday, January 13, 2023.
Your input on school district priorities is important and we value your time to complete the survey. Here at HSMC, we are hoping for 100% participation. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the oil! Please make your voice heard by clicking on the button below to let the district know your priorities for your student's education.
Thank you.
PARKING PERMITS REQUIRED THIS SEMESTER!
As we get ready for the Spring 2023 semester, we want to let you know that the College is launching a virtual parking permit process! When you purchase your required permit to park on campus, it will now be virtual. This means there is no paper permit to keep track of or sticker to put on your vehicle.
All students taking in-person classes and parking on campus will be required to register their vehicle license plates when purchasing parking permits. VCCCD Police will use automated license plate readers to verify vehicles parked on campus have the required permits.
The cost is $30-$58 for the semester, depending on your vehicle type and California College Promise Grant (CCPG) eligibility. Single-use daily permits will also be available through PayMyCite.com. Daily permits are $2 and can be purchased here or by scanning the QR code found on parking signage throughout the campus parking lots.
Purchase a permit on the MyVCCCD portal under the Marketplace tab. For step-by-step instructions, visit Parking Information. Parking permit fees are used to fund critical safety measures on the campuses.
Any vehicle not properly parked or parked out of compliance with regulations is subject to citation.
For more information about parking on campus, visit VCCCD Parking Information.

TTRPG Club
The Tabletop Roleplay Game(TTRPG) Club is meant to be a safe environment where anyone who is interested in games like Dungeons & Dragons(D&D) or the Warhammer franchise can learn how to play these games. Meetings will be held every other week in Ms. Pistone’s room, TR-4, on Friday from 12:30 to 1:15. At these meetings, there will be help given towards learning the basics of playing, how to run a game, and how to create a game in D&D. There will also be a chance to learn and play games within the Warhammer Franchise at the bi-weekly meetings. Any campaigns run will be outside of school and club time; however, there are many campaigns planned that anyone is welcome to join if interested.

We will meet both semesters, once a week on Mondays at the Junior/Senior lunch.
GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) Club
GSA or Gay Straight Alliance is an important student-led organization meant to promote equality and camaraderie between people of all genders and sexualities. We strive to be a welcoming and safe community where students can meet to discuss queer books, history, and their own experiences. Meetings are Fridays from 12:35-1:15 in TR4.
Art Club
Bring your artistic talents and passion for art and meet with other artists and art lovers every Friday in Mrs. Sandoval's room at 12:40 pm, starting September 9th.
Our focus this year is on a school mural, and each week the art club's work is featured in the HSMC newsletter. Art club also has wonderful opportunities for scholarships, collaboration in school events, guest speakers and showcasing art in the community! We hope to see you there. For more information, please email the club's president, Taylor Capozzoli at 5106965@mrpk.org
Red Cross Club
The HSMC Red Cross Club is centered around acquiring skills to handle emergency situations, learning about the healthcare field, and community service. There are many opportunities provided in the club, as each club meeting counts for community service hours and The Red Cross provides chances for scholarships and gift cards. The Red Cross also helps its clubs execute community events, such as blood drives, so there are plenty of chances to get involved and demonstrate leadership. Thank you for your interest!
