A Message From Principal Choquette 1/4/19
As you know, it was a really hard start to the new year at BSS. I am happy to announce that our crossing guard, Audrey, is home and recovering. I was able to speak with her yesterday and she was in good spirits and wanted to be sure that I let everyone know that she is okay. She is so appreciative of the caring and supportive community here at BSS. We have delivered cards from the kids to her and the staff will be sending something as well. If you are interested in sending something please reach out to the PTO.
Yesterday you all received a letter regarding the deaths at Village Hill. We have reassured the students and staff that they are all safe and that we are all here together to help support each other with any worries or concerns they may be having. I am grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive community. If your child is expressing worries or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the school.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Florence Savings Bank
Every year Florence Savings Bank gives out $100,000 to local non-profit organizations. Their Customers' Choice Community Grants program has been a wonderful opportunity for many places, including Bridge Street School, to receive money to help our school. In order to receive money, Florence Savings Bank customers can either go to the bank or go online and vote for Bridge Street School. The more votes, the more money. Everyone who has an account can vote, including kids who have accounts. So, if you are a Florence Savings Bank customer, please vote for Bridge Street School! Here is the link: https://www.florencebank.com/vote . Please spread the word to your family and friends who are customers of Florence Savings Bank. Thank you for voting for BSS and thank you for supporting our school!
