The UUA has just announced the Common Read book for 2020-21 is Breathe: A Letter to My Sons by Imani Perry. Breathe "explores the terror, grace, and beauty of coming of age as a Black person in contemporary America and what it means to parent our children in a persistently unjust world."

You can purchase the book from the inSpirit Bookstore or wherever you buy books and look for updates on a congregational book discussion later in the year.

As many of you know, UUCSJS now has a Pandemic Response Team (PRT) working hard to determine the safest way for our congregation to hold in-person gatherings. At this time, they have not yet deemed it safe for large gatherings however, they are working with the Board to put some guidelines in place to allow small group gatherings soon.
