Attendance
Attendance is extremely important. We want our students to be in school every day, unless they are sick. Students should arrive to school beginning at 8:45 each day. Students should be in school by 9:00 to avoid being tardy. Students are considered chronically absent when they miss 10 or more days each school year. This included excused and unexcused absences. If a student misses 1 day every month of the school year, they will be considered chronically absent. Please avoid taking trips and vacation during the school year. Thank you for your assistance in ensuring students in class each day.
Marumsco Hills Spirit Wear For Sale
We love seeing our students wear our school colors and show their school spirit! Here at Marumsco Hills Elementary, we are Eagle Leaders! We show our Eagle Pride through everything we do. Purchasing spirit wear also helps our school raise money for supplies and fun activities!
Transportation
We know that there are days in which buses are running slightly behind schedule. As a reminder, we encourage you to track your student’s buses in real-time. Please download the Here Comes the Bus mobile app.
Lockdown Drill
On November 22 we will be conducting a lockdown drill. We are required to conduct drills throughout the year. Students will complete the drill as if we needed to enter a lockdown status due to a threat in the school.
School Wide Assembly
We are going to have a schoolwide assembly on Tuesday, November 22 at 2:00, The NED Program. The assembly will be virtual. This is a 45 minute character education program featuring a cartoon character whose name is an acronym for
- Never give up (focus and persistence)
- Encourage others (kindness and shared learning)
- Do you best (diligence and excellence)
Additional information about the show will be provided closer to the show date.
