Below are a few things to put on your radar.
Beginning after winter break we will be serving a small breakfast for students in need. Please have your child come to the Commons at arrival if they are in need of breakfast.
Tech reminders: Please be sure your child has a pair of working headphones at school. In addition, for students who have their devices at home, please be sure they are fully charged, and that the device and chargers are sent to school each day.
After winter break we will be welcoming a new music teacher to Westgate. Miss Nina Rauzi will begin teaching our music classes beginning January 4th. We want to thank Mrs. Silagi for her help and support during this time of transition.
Westgate Cares-Toys for Tots
Thank you, Westgate Wolverines, for your amazing Toys For Tots donations! We collected over 170 toys for children in need this holiday season. Thank you to the Albu Family for all of their help during the collection drive and for delivering the toys to the United States Marine Corp Reserves collection center on Saturday. Our donations were recognized with a special certificate for Westgate School. We had additional gifts donated this Monday, so we delivered them to the Arlington Heights Fire Department for their ongoing Toys For Tots collection. Happy Holidays from Westgate Cares!
PTA Meeting-Wednesday, January 5th

Mrs. Carney will be doing a short presentation about Reading Workshop and Guided Reading at the beginning of the meeting.
As a reminder, throughout the school year, you can always enroll your child in or unenroll your child from the SHIELD testing process. Please click the links below and fill out the form if you would like to enroll or unenroll your child.
