Family Dinner Discussions from the Sunday Scriptures: On May 7, we will hear the words: You are "a chosen race, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a people of his own,so that you may announce the praises" of him
who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light," from 1Peter.
We are all called to glorify God through our actions.
What kind of behavior glorifies God? What can your family do to glorify God through the decisions you make and the actions you take?

Many beautiful titles have been given to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Within our own diocese, we have many different titles for Mary connected to our churches including Our Lady of the Valley, Our Lady of the Lakes, Our Mother of Sorrows, and Mary, Mother of Mercy, just to name a few! The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is the largest Roman Catholic church in North America and is among the ten largest churches in the world. It can be found in Washington D.C. and has over 80 chapels and oratories devoted to Mary from all different cultures around the world. Take a virtual tour using the link below to see which image of Mary inspires you most!!

WONDER!
1. What might it have been like to be the mother of God?
2. Jesus was both human and divine. We don't know much about his childhood. What do you
think it was like?
