Dear Parents / Carers,

What a super week we have had this week!

The week started with the Reception Nativity performance which was wonderful. The children spoke so clearly and sang beautifully and were clearly enjoying retelling the story. Well done Reception!

On Tuesday and Wednesday, KS2 showcased their music learning this term with some great instrumental performances. It was lovely to see and hear how they are getting on learning their various instruments and I was impressed with the standard so early in the school year. Well done to them.

KS1 had their Christmas craft morning on Wednesday where the glitter flowed and they enjoyed making crafts to take home and we ended the week with a whole school trip to the pantomime and the Friends of Kirk Fenton Christmas fair. The logistics of getting the whole school to the pantomime worked well so thanks to Mrs Cameron for organising and everyone had a great time watching the show. We have a paired down Christmas Fair this year that I'm sure will be a super treat. Thank you to the Friends of Kirk Fenton for organising and raising funds for the school.

Dear Parents,

I'm excited to inform you that the Capoeira classes at Kirk Fenton will be concluding, and starting from January 30, 2024, our sessions will take place at Church Fenton Village Hall, conveniently located near the school.

Classes will be run every Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:30. If it suits you better, your child can be ready for pick-up at 4:15.
