Hello Sundance Families!

We had another fantastic week at Sundance! This week I attended a Women in School Leadership Conference, and I look forward to sharing some great resources and activities with our staff and students. As we head into next week, we are thrilled to begin art classes using our Prop 28 funds, ensuring even more opportunities for students to showcase their creativity. Our School Counselor planned a full week of Start With Hello activities to strengthen our community at Sundance. Don't forget to send your Wildcat to school in green on Wednesday!

Action Items (New Section!!):

• 2nd-5th Grade Families: CALLING ALL 2ND-5TH GRADE SINGERS! Wildcat Choir is a free after school program sponsored by the Twin Trails Foundation. Rehearsals are every Wednesday after school, 2:10 - 2:45pm starting October 4th.

• Front Door Buzzer: At times there is only one person in our front office. If no one buzzes you in, please knock on the door after 1-2 minutes.

Dear Families,

I am excited to start offering small groups for TK and Kindergarten students! These are the groups I have available this trimester:

• Social Skills & Friendship

• Self-Control

• Managing Big Emotions & Coping Skills

TK-K small groups meet once a week for about 20-25 minutes. Please email me at empark@powayusd.com if you have questions about any of these groups.

Running Club

We are off and running as of today! Thank you to all of the volunteers that participated in the track clean up this past week and to everyone that will continue on as running club volunteers throughout the year!
