Center Community Chat
DECEMBER 10, 2023
Dear Center Community,
A huge thank you to Ellen Ellis, Michelle Beard, Tiara Duff, and the gift room team as well as those who donated items to the gift room. The students had a wonderful time shopping for loved ones. In addition to giving the students an opportunity to shop for family and friends, it is also a successful fundraiser for our enrichment programs.
Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders
- Please pull up to the very front before allowing students out of the car.
- In the afternoon the drive in front of the K wing is for special education transportation only.
- Please adhere to the No Parking signs along the drive exiting the school. This becomes extremely important when we have snow, as parking there does not allow the safe travel of two-way traffic.
Center Cares
Dear Center Families & Staff,
As we approach the holiday season the Center Cares program at Center School is accepting gift card donations to help our families that especially need some extra support. Gift cards in $20-$25 increments (or any amount) from Target or Walmart would be most welcome! The donations are helpful not just at the holidays, but though out the year as families face unexpected hardships.
Please, if you are able to make a donation, gift cards will be accepted at the front office.
Thank you to those who have already donated!
Warm regards,
Ms. Lallas, M.S., Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Center Chirps:
- Please be sure to check out lost and find. Items that remain after winter break will be donated. Please write your child's name in their clothing so we can return these items to you.
- If your child comes home with an unfamiliar hat or mittens no need to return them. We wash and make available those left in lost and found. A big thank you to Mr. Woodman's mother who made many pairs of mittens for our students!
Warm Regards,
Dianna and Donna
