We did it! This is the most consistent and intentional character development program I have been a

part of at a school. At points during the year, it may have seemed routine but we tried to model out the value of consistency. We took the approach of "dripping" our values on the students every day instead of dunking them in them once a week. This was a new approach but I am pleased we did it this way and think we saw growth and experienced a different school culture this year. Special thanks to our teachers who were on the front lines every day "dripping". They were incredible! And thanks to everyone who sent me a note of encouragement or a story about their child and the impact the program was having on them! I appreciate all of you so much!

SUMMER SESSION registration is now open! Summer Session includes Credit Recovery (grades 9-12), Summer School (grades 6-12), and Credit Advancement (grades 9-12). RE-ENROLLMENT FOR FALL 2023 IS NOW OPEN! Athens City Schools is excited to announce Returning Student Registration (Re-Enrollment) for the 2023-2024 school year. Returning Student Registration (Re-Enrollment) is for rising 1st - 12th grade students. Check your primary email for a “snap code” from PowerSchool Registration Support and follow the provided instructions. Remember, you will receive a separate snap code email for each student currently enrolled in Athens City Schools. If a valid email address is not available, a re-enrollment instruction letter will be mailed to the address on record. Please be sure to check all associated email accounts and all SPAM, Junk, and Bulk email folders. Re-enrollment deadline is June 15, 2023. Learn more at acs-k12.org/reenrollment.
