Dr. Looney's Message
We are excited about our 7 groups of students who placed at the County Science Fair this week. You'll find some pictures of them throughout this newsletter.
In about 10 days: on the 15th and 16th of March we will have our Interim tests. Study, keep up with homework, check eClass, retake your other tests to bring up grades and make sure you know what you need to know.
Your children have probably been seeing the news about what is going on in Eastern Europe. As an IB school, our mission is to educate young people to create a more peaceful and just world. We strive to enhance multi-cultural understanding and respect. Your child learns about events in history that are related to today's conflict. OUR Social Studies teachers are well-equipped to share information in this arena. If your child has questions, they can approach these teachers. Of course, we are all here helping kids to understand how to promote peace in the world and in the school. If your child is experiencing any anxiety around these events, our counselors are always available.
Have a safe and blessed weekend. Thank you for all you do. Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need us.

Norcross Water Polo (Community, Not School)
What is Water Polo?
A fast-paced, competitive team sport; much like soccer - except you're treading water the entire game!
A Club Sport for All Skill Levels:
Norcross Water Polo is a club sport, not affiliated with any one high school. We have players from Norcross, Paul Duke STEM, GMAC, Greater Atlanta Christian, and more. We compete against public and private clubs in the area.
Summer Practice:
Rising 8th-12th grade boys are invited to join us this summer to learn the sport in a non-competitive environment. No experience is necessary, other than the ability to swim well - it's a deep-water sport. We'll teach you the rest.
