Community Cougar Connection
August 1, 2023
October 14, 2024
Dear Cougar Community,
We got a little taste of chilly weather this morning!! It gave us a good reminder at arrival that the temperature fluctuates throughout the day. Please remind your child of the ever-changing weather this time of year. A jacket is always a good idea.
When you stop in for conferences this week, make sure you take a look at the lost and found! So many hoodies get peeled off at recess and left outside! We also have quite a few water bottles and lunch boxes in our collection.
Go COUGARS!
Tonya Bruce, Principal

In order to maintain a safe environment for our school please abide by these guidelines. Your help and assistance is very much appreciated.
The following are considered not appropriate for school or school events:
- Costumes that are overly graphic, promote violence or otherwise might logically be assumed to be offensive to others.
- Costumes need to continue to meet our school’s dress code policy.
- Costumes that are sexually suggestive are not appropriate for school.
- Costumes with sound effects, lights, inflatable, or other components which would disrupt the classroom learning environment.
- Costumes that could be considered insensitive to various races, cultures, and religions.
- Toy or facsimile weapons of any kind (guns, knives, swords, bats, spikes, chains, blasters, lightsabers, etc.) are not permitted.
- Fake blood is not allowed.
- Please limit the ‘gore’ of the costume. Fake, dismembered body parts are not allowed.
