Community Cougar Connection

May 17, 2024
Dear Cougar Community,
This will be our last Cougar Connection of the 23-24 school year, and what a year it has been! It has flown by, and we have much to celebrate. Our students knocked it out of the park on their MAP testing, with our math data off the charts. I am incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by both our staff and students.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your support, ideas, advice, and feedback over the last four years. Serving as the principal of Three Creeks has been an extraordinary experience and a major source of pride for me.
As I move on, I wish everyone the best of luck and hope you have an amazing summer.
Lastly, our school year is quickly coming to a close. The last day of school will be on May 24th, with students being released at 12:15 pm.

Empty Bowls
Hi!
This year's Empty Bowls Event was a HUGE success! Thanks to everyone who was involved or attended the event we were able to raise $1422.93 for the Arvada Community Food Bank. Last week, a few of the Empty Bowls Club Officers and I delivered the check and got an inside tour of the Food Bank and how it runs. We had a great time. Thank you again for donating, giving your time, and/or attending the event. .

We need six more families!
PTO is partnering with Ridwell to responsibly recycle plastic film and keep these items that cannot be recycled curbside out of our landfills. Now through May 15th, families are encouraged to bring plastic film to school to be placed in the Ridwell receptacle in the front office. We encourage you to share the drive with your students and families over the next few weeks.
Additionally, Three Creeks has the chance to keep Plastic Film from landfills all next school year! If 10 families from our community become Ridwell members using our schoolβs unique link by May 31st, we will be awarded monthly Plastic Film pickups for our school all next year! You can find that link here and on fliers posted around the school.
