Parent Check-ins
November 3rd is Parent Check-in day for K-5th grades. K-2nd is doing Parent-Teacher check-ins and 3-5 Parent-Teacher-Student check-ins. Please watch for communication directly from your student's teacher for scheduling. It is very important to be on time and to respect the timing of the scheduled meeting as there are many families to meet. If you are unable to make your scheduled time, please contact their teacher.
Community Circle
Join us for Community Circle! Each month we focus on one of our design principles. November is Diversity and Inclusion. The 3rd Grade Crew will be sharing what they have been working on in class around this design principle. Community Circle is open to everyone on the following Fridays:
11/17 3rd grade - Diversity and Inclusion
12/8 2nd grade - Service and Compassion
1/12 1st grade - Solitude and Reflection

Students are allowed to wear costumes to school on Halloween. No face masks, magic wands or props of any kind, and please no frightening or inappropriate costumes. Email the office with questions.
Lost & Found
Our lost and found bins are full again! Please stop by the office and check it out. Parent Crew will be picking up all lost and found items for donation on November 1st.
School Messenger Available Starting November 1st!
We will be implementing School Messenger text messaging service starting November 1st. Please opt in now by scanning the QR code on the flyer below or by sending "Y" or "YES" to 67587. This is a great way for the school to communicate important information to our families quickly. if you have recently changed your phone number, please contact the office to update it so you don't miss a thing!
No School November 2nd & 3rd
November 2nd and 3rd are teacher work days and K-5 parent check-ins. There is no school those days. If you have a student in Kindergarten through 5th grade, watch for communication from their teacher for a check-in.
Drop-off and Pick-up Reminder
When picking-up or dropping-off your student, please remember to drive all the way down the pick-up lane to allow more cars to get through. Powers Avenue can get pretty congested and keeping the line moving will help alleviate that.
Weeding Wednesdays
Join the PPCS Landscape Committee for Weeding Wednesdays before and/or after school pickup (~2:30-3:30)! We’ll have gloves and tools or bring your favorites. We’ll be on the island in the middle of the parking lot- stop by any time and see what the Landscape Committee is up to!
