A LA CARTE MILK

While meals are free, the a la carte milk with a lunch brought from home will be available only for purchase. Right now, this is not an option, but when it becomes available I will let you know.

Bus Update- Mask Reminder

Reminder to families: nothing has changed regarding the Presidential Executive Order requiring face masks when riding on a school bus. Per the Executive Order, students riding on school buses are required to wear a face covering/mask. Should we receive additional guidance, we will notify families immediately.

Parent Pick Up

Parent pick up is going very smoothly with the new system in place. By day 3, we had all students safely in cars, on buses, and headed home to their families by 3:45pm. Thank you to all of you for reading my emails and following the new plan. Teamwork makes the dreamwork!


As you plan ahead for your week, please be sure that your student(s) know the plan for how they get home. If you are going to walk up to get your student(s) please tell them they are WALKERS. This group gets dismissed earlier and our hope is to move all safely across the street before we start moving the parent pick up line. If you've changed your plan for the day, please email your child's teacher and Angie Jones (jonesa1@urbandaleschools.com), prior to 3:00pm.
